My First Blog Post

It is a Sunday in the middle of May. It is hot, humid, and cloudy outside. Behind me, the Bulls are trying to hold off Detroit. A noble effort, but most likely pointless. A beef stew is brewing on the stove as I sit here and think about what to do with myself.

As a 24 year old young professional male I often feel like I need to do something big. I see guys at work many years my senior and wonder, "If I get complacent I'll end up just like these guys. Is that what I want?" So, what's a guy to do? Start a business? Put a chunk of savings into the stock market? Decide where I want to live for the next few years and buy property? Should I learn how to play an instrument? Practice drawing, or perhaps develop the art of CG development? Go wakeboarding? Join the Air Force in an attempt to get in the seat of an F-18 Super Hornet?

The list goes on, but what is truly distrubing is that as the list goes on I get bored. That's when I decide to play some video games, walk the dog, or call up someone to go out somewhere. Hey! Is that how people get complacent? Is it ok to be the 'Last Man'?
